BECOME A MEMBER OF THE PERSIMMON CLUB
Persimmon is our national brand color reflecting the strength and confidence of the YWCA. Reflecting on our brand, we are excited to launch the Persimmon Club, a philanthropic group that champions the YWCA of Houston and its mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Your membership will be a symbol of hope and advocacy for pursuing the rights of women and families, fighting on the front-lines of some of our nation’s greatest issues like Civil Rights, Fair Wages, and Sexual Assault. Through your membership, we will stand as a collective voice to fight for legislation which impacts the women and girls we serve. Join Today!

SPEAKER SERIES AND OUTREACH
The YWCA of Houston is pleased to invite individuals who are leaders in their field of business, government, health, entertainment, STEM and social sectors to share their views on innovative leadership.
The events will be held throughout the Houston community. Please visit our event section on our website for additional information.
Volunteers are the backbone of nonprofit organizations. Volunteers help with fundraising, administrative tasks and operations, and they help spread the word about the mission of the organization. We encourage you to help YWCA of Houston achieve our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women by becoming a volunteer. Volunteers are always needed to serve, teach, mentor, speak, counsel, or decorate to help provide direct support and care to women and girls. Please contact April Carson, Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or (713) 640-6823 to sign up or schedule your company/organization.
